|Yes, this mug could become a mantra for the RV community|
A wait day?
Yes, and so we'll think of something to do while we're waiting. It's a good day to settle in, write, edit, read, nap, whatever as we wait for the mobile RV repair service. Maybe even take a nice stroll around the RV park as have haven't done that yet.
What, wait. Mobile repair service?
Yes, some RV techs have set up their own mobile service and come to you instead of having to fully unhook and drive to them.
And why did we call?
Our fridge is a 2-way, meaning it runs on propane or electric. And yesterday, the AC (electric side) decided to stop working. Oh well, after all, it is 20 years old.
That’s the bad news that prompted a call for service.
But there is good news in the midst of this (Yay God!)
- It is, after all, a
2-way fridge, and the propane side is working great! So, we don’t need to dig
out the cooler and rely on ice runs to keep our perishables safe!
- We caught it before everything thawed out. Of course it's a small RV fridge so there wasn't that much, but still, who wants to toss out food?
- Ron, the owner here at Jamaica Beach RV, knew of a local mobile RV repair service.
And so, we wait. But after all the walking around we did yesterday, we appreciate the down time!
